Will you go to prom with us?
On April 12th, the Essex House in New York City will host a grand event, Rahm’s Prom, created by couture fashion designer herself, Randi Rahm. So throw on a your chic, prom inspired attire and grab a date, because all of the proceeds and donations from the event will go toward Operation Prom and The Children’s Storefront, both charities that benefit underprivileged youth!
With celebrity hair stylist, David Evangelista as the host, enjoy a night of fun with entertainers including singers Jonet and Tony DeSare, and rock out to the band Lion in the Mane! The title of Prom Queen will go to ABC’s Bachelorette star, Ashley Herbert, accompanied by her fiance (and Prom King), JP Rosenbaum.

Tickets are $150. For $75 discounted tickets, all you have to do is donate a formal prom attire gown, tuxedo or suit that will go to Operation Prom, helping low income-students attend their prom without having to worry about the cost.

We had such an incredible time on Monday night as we brought brides, planners, and top vendors in the wedding industry together for the most successful Wedding Salon we’ve ever produced in Los Angeles! Exhibitors gave us a look at the ultimate million dollar dream wedding, showcasing the hottest trends for this summer while mingling with brides in the luxurious ballroom at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills.

The location served as an exquisite backdrop to the royally lit deep purple, pink and silver décor, and the room sparkled with jewels accented on everything from chandeliers to cakes! Brides seemed to truly enjoy the entertainment and high class treatment for the night, including the best cocktails, tastings, gifts, honeymoon giveaways and so much more!

We saw breathtaking gown trends like those delicately hand painted from R-mine Bespoke, which they accented with dramatic veils.
Displaying how everything is better bejeweled in 2012 were Hansen’s Cakes and Cake & Art. Both offered tasty treats that incorporated an element of sparkle in their unique and elegant designs.

We saw over-the-top table displays all over the place, but the one from Secret’s Resorts and Spas certainly stood out!!
Other highlights from the show included great live music by Elan Artists, a celebrity appearance by future bride Tara Buck from Trueblood with YoungBlood Mineral Cosmetics, and eco-friendly trends like gowns from Deborah Lindquist!
