In honor of the historic day December 12th, 2012 coming up at the end of this year, Belize will host one of the most epic marriage events imaginable!
We’ve heard one theory after another about the date signifying the end of the world, but the Mayan people actually believe that 12/12/12 is a sign of new beginnings, and what better way to celebrate a new chapter of life than with a wedding celebration?
In fact, it will be 36 wedding celebrations, every couple bringing 218 of their closest friends and family to say their vows in front of one of the world’s most incredible backdrops – 3200-year-old Mayan Ruins!
The Maya Marriage of Many is a once in a lifetime opportunity for engaged couples, as this is the first and only time that Belize will allow there to be a massive wedding at the Maya ruins of Cahal Pech. It will truly be an unforgettable celebration not only for the happy couples, but for the Mayan people’s culture.
35 lucky contest-winning couples have already secured their spots, and while they’re sending out their ‘save the dates,’ you still have a chance to be part of the action!
